چکیده
The increasing online reviews regarding products and services have provided an important reference for people considering pruchasing a products. The rating prediction thus can further help online shopping portals to shape their recommendation system by recommending products that might get higher ratings. In this project, we conduct the rating prediction for beer review. We conduct the analysis on the data to present the property of the dataset. Based on the properties, we implement several models for predicting the ratings. We compare several models to identify most important features, and select the best model among several models. By using a validation set, we tune the model parameter to maximize its performance compared to alternatives.
